Gucci: Men’s SS16 Milan
26 June 2015
On Monday, June 22nd, at 12:30pm the Gucci Men’s SS16 show took place at Scalo Farini, a former railway station.
We were asked by Alessandro Michele to design the creative concept for the venue for the Men’s SS16 collection fashion show. We continued to play with the lighting concept previously featured in the NYC Cruise show adding colour to transform the new space, we used over 3,000 multi-colour fluorescent tube lights transforming the space and catwalk with a dramatic wash of colour
600 guests were seated on high back bamboo red lacquer chairs upholstered with a bespoke green tromp l’oeil print design. Each chair was then trimmed with a black grosgrain ribbon and a line of antique upholstery studs, along side a hand calligraphy seating card with a matching grosgrain ribbon bow.
